If you want to buy souvenirs in Bremen, it is quite popular either to get a souvenir of the Town Musicians of Bremen (e.g. in as book or as chocolate) or one of the typical sweets of the city.

There is a huge variety of the latter, ranging from Bremer Klaben to Bremer Kluten and Babbeler.
One of the most popular places to buy sweets from is the Chocolatier Hachez on the way to the Markt.
